ARK: Survival Evolved
ARK: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game with crafting elements. Players are on an island where dinosaurs roam freely. The player-character must find food and shelter to protect themselves from the environment and dangerous prehistoric animals. Dinosaurs can be killed and harvested for meat and materials such as hide, or tamed for riding and gathering other materials. Players can select either a PvP online server, PvE, or single-player. The online mode also allows for forming clans as well as taking over territories.
ARK: Survival Evolved received generally favorable reviews with an average score of 72%, praised for its environment, assortment of dinosaurs, and overall fun, though criticized by some for its technical bugs and occasional grind.
While the game is meant to be played online, all trophies can be earned in single player. Unlocking the trophies legitimately would take forever. However, there are Admin Codes that can be used to make trophy hunting much easier. The 2-star difficulty is for the time required to type in all the codes, as well as the boredom of doing so.
If using the Admin Codes, the Platinum can be unlocked in under 10 hours.
If you're in a rush for that Platinum, then we highly recommend starting a Single Player game, where you can type in Admin Codes. To do so, hit the Options button, then hold down Square, Triangle, L1, and L2 at the same time to bring up the Admin Code text bar. Here are a few basic codes that will come in handy:
leavemealone - you will not be attacked, as well as impervious to any harm
DoTame - will automatically tame any dinosaur in your cross-hair
Cheat kill - automatically kill any dinosaur in your cross-hair
Ghost - Allows you to move through walls in case you get stuck, as well as fly by holding the X button
Walk - cancels the Ghost mode
You can start by unlocking some of the few miscellaneous trophies. This includes using the Admin Code: addexperience 10000000 0 1 to put you at level 100. Then, input the Admin Code: playercommand Ascend1 while will unlock the Gamma Ascension trophy, as well as increase your experience to level 105. Then input: Playercommand Ascend2 for the Beta Ascension trophy, and: playercommand Ascend3 for the Alpha Ascension trophy. This will put you at experience level 115, and should unlock the Maximum Survivor trophy.
Next, use the summon and automatic taming codes to unlock Your First Dino, Your First Ride, Rex Rider, Giga Rider, and Maximum Dinosaur trophies. Check out the Ark Survival Evolved trophy guide links under our Links tab on specific details and codes. While you're at it, you can also unlock the Cure-All trophy, as well as the Highest Peak and Lowest Depth trophies.
Next, unlock the Veteran Survivor, Expert Survivor, and Master Survivor trophies. Again, check out the trophy guides for the codes on what you need and how to warp to these locations. When you are killing the beast, simply use the Admin Code: Cheat kill. Doing all three will also unlock the Survivor Evolved trophy.
With all that out of the way, it's time for the boring part. The first, is unlocking the Artifact Archaeologist trophy, which involves looting all the artifact crates. There are 11 in total. Start with the Admin Code: summon artifactcrate_01_c while will spawn the crate. After you have collected the contents, type in the code: summon artifactcrate_02_c and repeat the process through the numbers to 11.
Next, is the Veteran Paleontologist trophy. Check this out in the Ark Survival Evolved trophy guide links under our Links page, as there are a number of codes to type in, here.
Then, find yourself a good spot and start summoning and taming all the domesticable creatures for the Master Zoologist. Again, check out the trophy guides for all the codes.
Lastly, if by now you haven't uncovered more than 80% of the map and therefore not yet unlocked the Map Maker trophy, then now's the time to start exploring. We found the easiest way to do this is to use the leavemealone Admin Code and just run about.
