Battleborn Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o A first-person shooter taking place in online multiplayer battle arenas. Since the online servers were closed on January 31, 2021, all trophies have become Not Obtainable.
Battleborn is an online first-person shooter taking place in multiplayer online battle arenas. In June 2017, a year after its release, the game became free-to-play. The online servers were closed on January 31, 2021.
Players select from a roster of characters, each with their own unique skills and attacks, and choose to battle in either single player, competitive matches, or cooperative matches. Experience gained allows players to advance along the Helix Tree, where they can select from one of two buffs or new abilities, which can allow players to customize their characters as a custom loadout. Players also receive randomized gear at the end of each match, providing further abilities and buffs.
Battleborn received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 70%, praised for the roster of unique characters and visuals, yet criticized by some for the amount of hours required in leveling up and lack of content.
Battleborn was first released in May 2016 with a strong player base. However, this base quickly declined as players moved on to similar, yet more popular online shooters, such as Overwatch. Finally, Gearbox decided to shutdown the servers on January 31, 2021. Since the game is online only, all remaining trophies, including the Platinum, has since become Not Obtainable.
Normally when a game has its online servers closed, we would still provide some advice on unlocking any remaining offline trophies. Unfortunately, Battleborn is entirely online. Since the servers were closed on January 31, 2021, no more trophies, including the Platinum, can be unlocked.
