Skate 2

Skate 2 is an open-world skateboarding game, and the third installment in the Skate series, after the 2007 Skate and 2008 Skate It. Set in a fictional city named San Vanelona, the main character has been released from a five year prison term, and must bring skateboarding back to the city devastated by earthquakes, all while avoiding the Monogocorp goons who are tempting to purchase the city's property. Players gain points by performing tricks, such as flip tricks, grinds, grabs, and ollies. The game also includes an online multiplayer.

Skate 2 received positive reviews, with an average score of 84%, praised for its controls and overall improvement to the series, though criticized by some for its steep learning curve.

Skate 2 was first released in January 2009, and contains 10 online trophies. Since late 2014, the servers involved with uploading and downloading "community-created spots" became rather flakey, until early 2015 they seemed to have shut down permanently without any announcement.

While it's still possible to go online and play ranked matches, those trophies related to uploading and downloading community-created spots, as well as rating them, can no longer be unlocked. Whether this was a glitch or intentional remains to be seen, but the fact of the matter is that the 3 online trophies related to to those uploads/downloads cannot be unlocked, which means the Platinum for Skate 2 is currently Not Obtainable.

Skate 2 contains 3 online trophies - Dethrowned, The Architect, and The Critic, which as of late 2014, cannot be unlocked due to a problem/closure of the server. However, the game does contain 43 other trophies that are still unlockable. So if you're interested, then read on.

From the beginning, you'll have a cutscene to watch that sets the story, the ability to change your character's looks, then a tutorial. After going through this, you'll have earned your first five trophies in the game: Gender Bender, Graphically Extreme, Skater Evolved, I Like To Move It, and Meet Slappy.

Since the game is open-world, there isn't much need of a roadmap. The trophy guides in our Links page will be your best friend here, as it's simply a matter of working through and unlocking what you need. Winning certain events, such as the San Van-a-Slamma or Deathrace will contain several prerequisites which you'll be working through naturally during the Campaign. In addition, there are particular stunts in specific areas which, when completed, will also net you more trophies. We recommend simply going through the offline trophies and knocking them out one by one.

Otherwise, there are a number of online trophies, such as Online Legend for collecting five bronze, three silver, and a gold medal, which can still be obtained. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab if you're looking for someone to help you with these.

Pro Evolution 2010

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, known in Japanese as World Soccer Winning Eleven 2010, is a soccer/football game and the ninth in the Pro Evolution series which began on the PlayStation One. The game includes the UEFA Champions League, and for the first time, the UEFA Europa League. There are 258 squads in total, with 139 being officially licensed, with 55 teams. New features include improved visuals, animations, and online play, and 360-degree control. Jon Champion and Mark Lawrenson provide commentary on the English version.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 received positive reviews, with an average score of 76%. The game was praised mainly for its graphics and overall fun appeal, though considered less superior to EA's FIFA series.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 was first released in early November, 2009, and includes 2 online trophies. Unfortunately, the servers were shut down on January 31, 2012, which means those two online trophies cannot be unlocked. As a result, the Platinum for this game has become Not Obtainable.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 includes two online trophies: Winning Streak(Online) and High Win Ratio(Online). Unfortunately, the servers were closed on January 31, 2012, which means these two trophies - as well as the Platinum - are now Not Obtainable. However, the game still includes 26 offline trophies that can be earned, so if you're interested, then read on.

If you like, you can start with the UEFA Champions League. Work towards winning 10 matches in a row for the Winning Streak trophy. Along the way, there are a number of bronze trophies you can unlock as well, such as for scoring the winning goal in extra time for Last-Minute Win, and simply winning a game for First Glory.

Once you've unlocked all the UEFA Champions League related trophies, you can head into Master League. This is where you'll spend the majority of your time, as you'll need to play for 10 seasons for the 10 Years Of Service trophy. This will be your ultimate goal here, though there are a number of Master League related trophies you can unlock along the way.

After that, you can start on Become a Legend mode. This will also take a bit of time, as you need to level up a complete rookie player and team. For the Wanderer trophy, you'll need to play for 10 clubs with four different teams from each country.

With that completed, if there happen to be any trophies you missed along the way, this is the time to mop them up. Check out the Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 trophy guide links under our Links tab for details on what trophies you may still be missing and how to obtain them.

And unfortunately, with the servers down, this is as far as you can go.

Portal 2 Trophy Guide

Portal 2 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o  A first-person puzzle platformer and sequel to the 2007 Portal. While it may be possible to connect your PSN account to a Steam account to unlock the two online trophies, for all intent and purposes the Platinum for this game is marked as Not Obtainable.

Portal 2

Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle platformer, and a sequel to the 2007 Portal, which was released on the PS3 as part of The Orange Box, before trophy support. Like the prequel, players traverse through levels and explore areas while avoiding obstacles through teleportation, by creating an entrance and exit portal hole. The game includes both single player and two-player co-op, which can either be played split-screen or online.

Following the events of the prequel, after the female protagonist Chell has destroyed the artificial intelligence GLaDOS which had killed the employees at Aperture Science, she has been captured and pulled back inside the facility by a Party Escort Bot. Chell has been placed in suspended animation by an Aperture Science employee named Doug Tattman, and has since awakened and searching for a means of escape.

Portal 2 received outstanding reviews, with an average score of 96%, praised for its additions to the sequel, overall challenging puzzles and fun, and considered by many critics to be even better than the prequel.

While the Platinum is not quite 100% unobtainable, we felt it best to label this game as Not Obtainable to give you fair warning. The problem is with two trophies which can only be unlocked online: Professor Portal and Friends Lists With Benefits. The only way to collect these is by connecting your PSN account through a Steam account on the PC. However, as of late 2014, many people have been experiencing issues trying to connect to Steam.

Those of you who are determined to unlock these two trophies, may be able to do some research and figure out a way around this problem. But for the average gamer who doesn't have a Steam account and simply wishes to hunt for trophies on their PS3, this Platinum is Not Obtainable.

Your first step is to simply play through the single player campaign. Aside from the story-related trophies which you'll automatically unlock, there are a number of miscellaneous trophies which are chapter-specific. There is a chapter select at the end of the game, in which you can backtrack and nab anything you missed. However, if you want to get all these trophies in one go, check out the Portal 2 trophy guide by technole and Spikey654 under our Links tab, which provides a list of what trophies can be unlocked in each chapter.

Once that's finished, here's where you can use the chapter select to mop-up any of the single player trophies you may have missed.

After that, you can start working on the co-op story. As we've said before, issues with connectivity have caused Professor Portal and Friends Lists With Benefits to become unobtainable for some. However, the other co-op related trophies can still be earned in split-screen. This is a completely different game which involves team work, and is rather difficult to do on your own with two controllers. We highly recommend inviting a friend over to help you out. Again, check out the Portal 2 trophy guide by technole and Spikey654 for a list of the locations where certain trophies can be unlocked.

Unfortunately, this may be were your trophy hunting for Portal 2 comes to an end. We have included some forums under our Links tab which explains the PS3 and Steam integration if you'd like to give it a try. Who knows, you might get lucky and be able to unlock those two unobtainable trophies. But don't get your hopes up too high.

Overlord II Trophy Guide

Overlord II Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o  A third-person action adventure in a fantasy setting, and a sequel to the 2007 Overlord. Since the servers were closed in 2012, the online trophies – and therefore, the Platinum – are Not Obtainable.

Overlord II

Overlord II is an action adventure in a fantasy setting, and a sequel to the 2007 Overlord, which was released on the PlayStation 3 before trophy support. Similar to the prequel, players control the Overlord in third-person, who commands hordes of minions to battle enemies and conquer civilizations. The game also includes online multiplayer, which was shut down in late 2012.

Taking place a generation after the prequel, the Glorious Empire has now taken over a chaotic land. The Overlad, the son of the prequel's silent Overlord, manages to escape the Glorious Empire's siege, and eventually comes of age when he can grow in strength by taking over areas before targeting the Glorious Empire.

Overlord II received fairly positive reviews, with an average score of 75%, praised for its improved multiplayer function, and the game's premise, while some reviewers complained of its camera and controls.

Overlord II was released in late June 2009, and includes 5 online trophies. Unfortunately, the servers became touch and go during late 2012, until finally becoming permanently closed. Given that these 5 online trophies can no longer be unlocked, the platinum for Overlord II is Not Obtainable.

With the servers closed, the Platinum for Overlord II is Not Obtainable, as well as the 5 online trophies. However, there are still 44 offline trophies that can be earned, so if you're interested, then read on.

The game will essentially require two playthroughs, one for The Dominator trophy, and one for The Destructor trophy, each based on a set of choices throughout the game. You'll be spending most of your time on one playthrough, particularly in the free roam afterwards to unlock the other trophies. Then, a quick second run on the other. Aside from those two trophies, you should also be wary of the Rock On, Ultimate collector, and Minion Captain trophies, which are missable. Be sure to check out the Overlord II trophy guide links under our Links tab to watch out for these.

Start your game, and make sure to play through purely as destruction or domination, in order to earn one of those two trophies by the end. Do not remain neutral. Play through the story, explore if you wish, and focus on unlocking the life force trophies, as well as finding all the minions and completing the side quests.

Once the story is complete, you can begin mopping-up the other trophies you're missing in the free roam. This might include the mistress trophies, dark crystals, minion upgrades, etc. Again, check out the trophy guides in our Links page to see what you're missing. After this stage, you should have nearly all the offline trophies.

Last, start your second playthrough, only this time make sure to select the opposite choices from your previous game, to earn either The Dominator or The Destructor trophy, depending on which one you're missing.

Unfortunately, with the online servers shut down, this is as far as you can go.

NHL 12 Trophy Guide

NHL 12 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A hockey game and the 21st title in the NHL series. The offline trophies are time-consuming, while the online are extremely challenging without boosting.

NHL 12

NHL 12 is a hockey video game under license from the National Hockey League, and is the 21st title in the NHL series published under EA Sports. New features include more interactive goalies, an improved physics engine, an improved Be A Pro mode, and the ability to play the 2011 NHL Winter Classics. The game also includes commentary by Gary Thorne and Bill Clement, as well as online multiplayer.

NHL 12 received positive reviews with an average score of 87%, praised for its improved gameplay, AI, and physics engine.

The offline trophies are of average difficulty, but extremely time consuming and will require a lot of grinding. On top of which, there are 21 online trophies, many of which require some serious skills and luck if you're doing them legitimately. If you have a boosting partner, then the difficulty level could be brought down to a 3-star, though will still require many hours of gameplay.

Expect over 160 hours depending on your skills, and far more if you're not boosting the online trophies.

When you first begin, you'll find yourself in the Winter Classic game between the Penguins and Capitols. Play as the Penguins up to the end, and you'll earn your first trophy, Winter Classics.

After that, you can start working on the Hockey Ultimate Team related trophies, of which there are eight. Select HUT from the main menu and create your team. Then, win a match against a team downloaded from the HUT servers, and you'll unlock the EAUHL 24/7 Victory trophy. Then work on collecting all the player, jersey, and logo cards for the Complete Set trophy, while also unlocking the Team Doctor and Past Their Potential trophies in the process. Finally, there are three HUT qualifying trophies which are unfortunately not stackable, which means you'll need to qualify for each playoff. Also, after winning one of the HUT monthly playoff tournament, you'll get the HUT Playoff Winner trophy.

Next, you can head into the Be A GM mode and work towards achieving Legendary status for the Legend GM trophy. To make this quicker, you can set the options to a none-game series. Also, there's no harm in turning off CPU trades and waivers, as well as the salary cap.

Then, there are the Versus-related trophies, to which there are three. You'll eventually need to reach level 25 for all three trophies: Versus Rookie, Versus Pro, and Versus Legend. These can be boosted, so if you're looking for a boosting buddy, check out the forums in our Links page.

After that, there's the five EASHL trophies. For the Every Man trophy, you'll need to play a full game for each of the five positions. Then, play as a goalie for the Taking Shots trophy. You'll need to play a monthly playoff, which is normally in the last week, for the EASHL Playoffs trophy.

Then, the only secret trophy, which is Hats Off To You, requires you to score three goals consecutively. Finally, you'll need to get the EASHL league match into overtime, then score in overtime to be the winner and unlock the EASHL Hero trophy.

With those out of the way, you can work towards the EASHL Rookie, EASHL Pro, and EASHL Legend trophies. This is where a lot of grinding comes in, as you'll eventually need to play over 150 games, and get 75 wins for an A- overall grade at minimum.

Finally, there are a number of Be A Pro related trophies, some of which require you to play on Pro difficulty. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page for the requirements for the last trophies that you still might be missing.

Good luck!
