Street Fighter IV Trophy Guide

Street Fighter IV Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *****  A 2D fighting game and part of the Street Fighter series that began in the arcade in 1987. Even with boosting, the Platinum is still challenging and incredibly time consuming.

Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter is perhaps one of the most popular and successful fighting games in the world, both on arcade and multiple consoles, dating as far back as 1987. The games have spawned several versions to each series (the reason why, after 25 years, the PS3's title is only IV) and even several films.

Street Fighter IV includes all the familiar characters, as well as 4 new ones and 2 secret characters, making a grand total of 25 possible player characters.

The game received exceptionally high ratings, with an average score of 96% for its great graphics, smooth gameplay, and a well-balance of the familiar with the new.

Street Fighter IV is as long and difficult as a fighting came can get. Even the professionals will be playing until they've grown a white beard before gaining the Platinum. Unlocking all the icons and titles should be a platinum in itself - and those are only worth two trophies!

Boosting will certainly make the online trophies easier, which would bring this difficulty rating down to 4-stars. But while winning 10 ranked matches in a row may seem daunting, this is far easier and less time consuming than the trials or individual online challenges just to collect icons and titles.

Expect to be playing this game for a long time.

We recommend starting with the Arcade Mode, getting familiar with the characters while unlocking others. Some of these characters can only be unlocked by successfully beating the Arcade mode with a specific character. To find this out, check out the Street Fighter IV trophy guide links under our Links tab.

Once all that's finished, and your skills are improving, you can start on the Challenge Mode. There are 100 challenges in total, and simply clearing them grants you the Challenge Expert trophy. But if you're gunning for the Platinum, you'll need The Gold Standard trophy, which means getting gold medals for all 100 challenges. This is one of the more difficult trophies in the game - some of these challenges are not easy!

Finally, once you've gotten all the offline trophies, it's time to get online and kick some butt. There are several trophies here which you can boost, so check out the boosting forums we've posted under our Links tab. But Playing To Win! means winning 10 ranked matches in a row. It is possible to boost this, though you will need to consistently "find" your partner under ranked matches, play and win, then repeat the search. Given the game's age, and considering there's a new version out there, not as many people are playing online, which means finding your boosting partner for a ranked match isn't too difficult.

Zumba Fitness Trophy Guide

Zumba Fitness Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *****  A fitness game using the PlayStation Move controller, and based on Zumba dance fitness program by Alberto Beto Perez. While the majority of the trophies are easy, finding 100 different people to play with online is extremely difficulty to do.

Zumba Fitness

Zumba Fitness is a fitness game based on the Zumba dance fitness program created by Alberto Beto Perez, and uses the PlayStation Move controller. The game includes a Zumba Belt in which the Move controller is fastened to the right hip. The game combines Latin and world rhythms with dance moves in a fitness program designed to burn calories in a fun way. Zumba Fitness includes 30 different routines with up to four players, and an online mode. Zumba instructors Tanya Beardsley, Gina Grant, and Beto host the game.

Zumba Fitness received poor reviews by the few online reviewers, with an average score of 54%, criticized for its presentation, repetition of dance moves, and difficulty level.

Obtaining the Platinum for this game is so difficult, that it may as well be listed as Not Obtainable. However, it is technically possible, so it warrants a 5-star difficulty. The majority of the trophies are quite easy. However, the Addicted To Zomba trophy requires you to play Dance Online with 100 different people. The problem, of course, is finding 100 different people to play with. Even if you locate some boosting partners online, a hundred people is a lot.

Expect a good 60-80 hours of gameplay for the majority of the trophies, and add however long it takes to find 100 different people online to play with.

Ready to lose those pounds and earn some trophies in the process?

Well, we recommend starting off with the Tutorial, and going down through the list. Completing all of them will earn you a trophy for each set for a total of 6 trophies, plus you'll unlock Join The Party and Drastic Dancer as well.

Next, it's all about dancing through 20 minute fitness classes to unlock the other offline trophies. For the Mind-blowing Moves trophy, you'll need to play through each son, of which the game does not keep track, so either do them in order or write down which ones you've done.

For the Zumbatomic trophy, simply change the date on your PS3 for each day, until you've played Zumba Fitness for 30 days in a row.

Following this, simply check out the Zumba Fitness trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and how to obtain it.

After all the offline trophies are done, it's time to unlock the 10 online ones. Having a boosting partner will help unlock the majority of these, such as for hosting or jointing 10 online routines. However, the most difficult trophy - and the reason we awarded this game a 5-star difficulty - is for finding 100 different people to dance online with, for the Addicted To Zumba trophy. These need to be "different" people, so you can't just dance with the same person 100 times. You can try some of the boosting forums under our Links tab, though it still won't add up to 100 different people.

If you have a second PS3, you could possibly buy a second copy of the game and create 100 PSN accounts to play with (the PS3 allows up to 64 accounts created, so you'll need to switch PS3s afterwards). Yes, it's a ridiculous method to get the trophy. But that's why we gave this game a 5-star difficulty rating.

Good luck!

Karaoke Revolution Trophy Guide

Karaoke Revolution Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A music karaoke game with over 50 different tracks in a variety of genres. The online trophies are challenging without a boosting partner, and acquiring a perfect score on Expert mode is extremely difficult.

Karaoke Revolution

Karaoke Revolution is a music karaoke game, in which players must sing and match the songs and their pitches to the lyrics scrolling across the screen, as the player-character performs at various public venues. The North American game includes 50 master tracks in a wide range of genres, while the UK version holds up to 75 tracks.

Karaoke Revolution received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 69%, praised for its selection of music and overall fun, but criticized for mediocre graphics and presentation.

The majority of the trophies are easy to collect, and only require time. However, there are 3 online trophies, and considering the age of this game, it's difficult to find anyone to play with. If you have a boosting partner, then these three trophies aren't a problem. Still, this game gets its 4-star rating due to one trophy: Hard Carbon, which requires a perfect score on Expert mode. Many have tried, few have succeeded.

Overall, this Platinum will take at least 60 hours, if not more, depending on how much difficulty you have with the Hard Carbon trophy.

NOTE: You will need 2 microphones for the Platinum.

There are two trophies you can knock out from the beginning. Make yourself a new character and venue, then perform a song with that new character in your new venue, and you'll unlock both the A New Voice and Stage Designer trophies.

After that, you can start on the Career Mode. If you've played any other music titles before, then you should be familiar with the drill. Start on a level you're comfortable with and play through the list. As your percentage gets high, move up to the next difficulty setting, and continue honing your karaoke skills. You'll be unlocking a number of trophies along the way, naturally.

At some point, you'll want to knock out the 3 online trophies: World Shut Your Mouth, Mic's At Fifteen Paces, and Musical Espionage. As we stated before, the online community is rather dead considering the age of this game. Check out the forums under our Links tab if you're looking for a boosting partner.

Also, there are 3 trophies which you'll need to unlock with two microphones: Host With The Most, Co-operative Commune, and Nothing But A Good Time. Also, the Challengers trophy requires 10 head-to-head matches, which can either be unlocked with two microphones, or online.

Lastly, mop-up any trophies you're still missing. This will probably include the Hard Carbon trophy which is so difficult that we brought this rating up to a 4-star. Rather than singing your favorite song, try to find one in which the pitch doesn't change very much, such as "I Melt With You." Just keep practicing, and pay close attention to the bar to measure your pitch. You need at least 99.6% in order to unlock this trophy.

Good luck!

NHL 2K10 Trophy Guide

NHL 2K10 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o  An ice hockey simulation game and the last in the NHL 2K series for the PlayStation console. Since the servers were closed in November 2012, the online trophies – and therefore, the Platinum – are now Not Obtainable.

NHL 2K10

NHL 2K10 is an ice hockey simulation game, and the last title in the NHL 2K series to be released on a PlayStation console. The game is officially licensed from the National Hockey League and the NHL Players Association. New features include AI enhancements, true-to-life character models, rink intros for each arena, and improved goal celebrations. Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda add the broadcast commentary.

NHL 2K10 received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 67%, praised for its graphics and character animations, but criticized for its overly simplified game modes.

NHL 2K10 was released in September 2009, and includes 2 online trophies. Unfortunately, the online servers were shut down in November 2012, which means those two online trophies cannot be unlocked. Therefore, the Platinum for this game has become Not Obtainable.

NHL 2K10 includes two online trophies: Panthers Trophy and Coyotes Trophy. Since the online servers were closed in November 2012, these two trophies can no longer be unlocked. Therefore, the Platinum trophy for NHL 2K10 is now Not Obtainable. However, there are still 47 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're still interested, then read on.

The game doesn't really require a roadmap, but if you're in need of some direction, we recommend starting with the Single Game related trophies, to which there are 20. These can be unlocked in any order of your choosing. Before starting a game, hit Triangle for Game Options and change the arena to Wrigley Field, then win the game for the It's Cold Out Here trophy. Do this again, only select Mini-Rink and win for the Mini Rink trophy. For the Canucks Trophy, simply select Vancouver and win against either the Rangers or islanders, to which the settings can be done on Easy with a one minute period. For details on the other single player trophies, check out the NHL 2K10 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see their requirements.

Once those are out of the way, you can head into Franchise mode. You'll need to win 17 games in a row for the Penguins Trophy. You can set the difficulty to Easy and boost all the player stats to 99 to make things easier when going for the playoffs. Once you defeat the other team in four games in the Finals, you'll win the Stanley Cup and unlock the Islanders Trophy, as well as several others in the process.

There are also two Create mode trophies to obtain. In the Main Menu, select Manage Roster and Create Team. Once you've gone through the process, you'll have unlocked the Rangers Trophy. Then, select Create Player and, once finished, you'll get the Ducks Trophy.

There are also a number of trophies related to reaching certain stats, which are accumulative. To view your progress, head into Trophy Room and hit Triangle. These include having played 500 games, earning 2000 points, getting 30 power play goals, etc. Since these are accumulative, we recommend saving these for last, and grinding for them after you've unlocked all the other offline trophies.

Unfortunately, with the online servers shut down, this is as far as we can go.

NHL 11 Trophy Guide

NHL 11

NHL 11 is a hockey video game under license from the National Hockey League, and is the 20th title in the NHL series published under EA Sports. New features include a new physics-based game engine to allow more natural plays and realistic interactions, as well as broken sticks, and a Hockey Ultimate Team mode in which players use earned packs of cards to improve their own team. The game also includes online multiplayer, of which the servers were closed on January 11, 2013.

NHL 11 received positive reviews, with an average score of 89%, with praise to its new physics-based game engine and presentation, and a few criticisms towards the game's AI.

NHL 11 was released in September 2010. Over two years later, the online servers were closed on January 11, 2013. The game includes 18 online trophies, which are no longer unlockable, marking the Platinum for this game Not Obtainable.

With the online servers closed as of January 11, 2013, the 18 online trophies cannot be earned. However, there are still 22 offline trophies that can be unlocked. So if you're interested, then read on.

Essentially, the game doesn't require much of a roadmap. But if you're looking for some direction, you can begin with the three Be A Pro mode trophies. All three of these can easily be earned, including the Filled Up trophy, as long as you're scoring one point per game.

Next, there are four trophies in the Be A GM mode. Check out the NHL 11 trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details, but basically you'll need to score with a newly-drafted player for the Proven Worth trophy, sign a level 3 restricted player for the Poached trophy, and obtain the Legend plaque for the Legendary GM trophy. As long as you win one of the four pre-season games, you'll earn the Good Preview trophy.

Next, there are seven EASHL trophies. Again, check out the trophy guides. For the EA SHL Veteran, you'll have to play 250 games with your pro player, and finish 8 practice games for the Practice Practice Practice trophy. Make sure, at some point, to use a custom jersey to earn the Custom Sweater trophy.

Then, there are thirteen trophies in the Hockey Ultimate Team mode. However, some of these require the online servers, which of course is no longer available, so check out the NHL 11 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what's still available. You'll need to win a game on Pro difficulty for the HUT CPU Win trophy.

Lastly, simply mop-up any remaining offline trophies you still need. Unfortunately, with the online servers closed, this is as far as we can go.
