Metal Slug Anthology

Metal Slug Anthology is a compilation of the Metal Slug games 1-6, as well as Metal Slug X, unaltered from their originals except for HD graphics and trophy support added. The games are run and gun side-scrollers in which players fire at a constant stream of enemies, making their way to the boss of each level. Aside from using melee attacks and a variety of different weapons, players can find tanks known as Super Vehicles. Players also run into POWs which, when freed, can offer bonuses such as weapons or random items.

Set in the future, the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force are sent to stop the evil General Morden and his rebel army from taking over the world.

Metal Slug Anthology received positive reviews with an average score of 78%, praised for its high action and nostalgic fun.

This would have been a 3-star rating, if not for a second controller trick. As a result, the game and its trophies are average in terms of difficulty, but the Platinum can be earned quite quickly – as long as the second controller trick is implemented. Also, there are no missable nor online trophies to worry about.

If using the second controller trick, the Platinum can be earned in under 10 hours. Playing this legitimately will take far, far longer.

Start by playing through each of the games. If you want to make things easier, head into Game Options and set the difficulty to Easy, and set the continues to Free Play.

There are a number of miscellaneous trophies related to each of the games which you can go for now, if you wish. Be sure to check out the details on each from the Metal Slug Anthology trophy guide links under our Links tab. However, you can always go back and get them later if you wish to simply play through the games first.

Once you’ve finished each of the games and gotten all the miscellaneous trophies, it’s time to replay each of them again, this time using only 5 continues for their respective trophy. Doing this legitimately is very challenging. However, there is a technique you can use with a second controller.

Have a second controller activated. Once you lose your life with the Player 1, press Start by touching the right side of the touch-pad on the second controller. Now, you’ll be able to play as Player 2. When Player 2 dies, do the same on the first controller to play as Player 1 again. Just make sure to hit Start before the timer runs out, and you’ll be able to complete each game without needing a Continue.

Super Time Force Ultra Trophy Guide

Super Time Force Ultra Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A side-scrolling action shooter with the ability to ‘rewind’. The Platinum is fairly average in terms of difficulty and time required.

Super Time Force Ultra

Super Time Force Ultra is a side-scrolling action shooter, originally released for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014 simply titled as Super Time Force, and ported onto the PS4 and PS Vita in 2015 as an updated version titled Super Time Force Ultra. Players can select from over 16 different characters within each of the six stages using different weapons and powers. With 30 lives, players run through the bullet hell levels, with the ability to rewind their timestream to either revisit lives of previous character’s playthrough, or restart a new one.

In a mission to improve the present, Commander Repeatski sends out his time-traveling military organization, known as the Super Time Force, to various points throughout history.

The original Super Time Force received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its refreshing use of rewind play, humor, and exciting gameplay.

The game is overall fairly average in terms of both difficulty and time required. As least one playthrough on Hardcore is required, as well as finding a number of collectibles. Some of the HellaDeck levels, which are a series of challenge areas, can be quite frustrating at times, but certainly doable for any gamer with enough practice and patience.

Expect around 15-20 hours for the Platinum, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS Vita.

Start by playing through the game from start to finish, while attempting to unlock all the miscellaneous trophies as you go. There are the story-related trophies which you’ll unlock automatically, as well as finding and collecting all the shards and glorbs along the way. Check out the Collectibles Guides under our Links tab for more details.

There are also some character-specific trophies to get as well. Check out the Super Time Force Ultra trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. Keep in mind however that nothing is missable, so if you happen to skip a couple trophies, don’t fret. You can still clean up later. Getting them now will just save you time later.

Once you’ve completed the game, now is the time to go back and get any of those miscellaneous trophies you may have missed. Again, check out the Super Time Force Ultra trophy guide links to see what you still need and their requirements.

Next, it’s time to complete all the HellaDeck missions for three trophies, the final of which is the Decked Out trophy. Some of these can be quite trying, but just keep practicing and you’ll get them all. If you’re having trouble, check out the guides under our Links tab.

With that done, it’s time to replay the game, this time on Super Hardcore mode in order to get The Hardest Of Core trophy. This is not quite as difficult as you may think, as the levels are the same, as well as the damage done by enemies. The only difference is that you won’t be able to use any fallen characters until they’re saved. After finishing the HellaDeck missions, Super Hardcore will probably feel quite easy in comparison. If you’ve been following the steps in this roadmap, than completing Hardcore mode should also win you the Platinum trophy.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Trophy Guide

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A 2D fighting game, and the sixth main entry in the series. Without boosting, the online trophies are quite challenging and time consuming.

Game Name Difficulty Trophies Developer Country Bronze Silver Gold Online DLC
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite **** 47 Capcom Japan 34 9 3 15 0

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is a 2D fighting game and the sixth main entry in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. Similar to previous games, players can select from a roster consisting of both Marvel and Capcom universe characters, and compete in tag-team battles. In Infinite, players can select one of the six Infinity Stones which grant a special ability. The game includes a roster of 30 playable characters, as well as both offline and online multiplayer.

Using the Space and Reality Stones, Ultron and Sigma fuse together to become ‘Ultron Sigma,” and unleash a virus to wipe out all biological life. Thanos reveals the location of the other Infinity Stones to a group of heroes, who set off to find them in an attempt to stop Ultron Sigma’s plan.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite received mainly positive reviews with an average score of 74%, praised for its incorporation of the Infinity Stones, gameplay mechanics, and its new tag-team system, though criticized by some for its presentation and character design.

The 4-star difficulty is mainly due to the online trophies. You will need to get a 5-game win streak in a Ranked match, as well as reach the 10th Rank online which means having to win the vast majority of matches. However, if boosting the online trophies, the difficulty can be brought down to a high 2-star difficulty.

Expect around 50-60 hours for the Platinum if boosting, and over 100 if doing legitimately, depending on your fighting skills.

Like most fighting games, there are no missable trophies, and you can start wherever you like.

If you’re in need of some direction, we recommend beginning with the Story mode. Doing so will not only help get you used to the mechanics of the game, but also unlock the four story-related trophies. If you’re having trouble, press Triangle to reduce the difficulty level.

Next, there’s Mission mode. If you already have experience with the Marvel vs. Capcom titles, then you’ll find Infinite’s Mission mode easier in comparison. You don’t need to complete all the missions. Only all the missions for 5 characters, and then complete a total of 100 missions, in order to unlock the four Mission mode related trophies.

After that, there’s Arcade mode, which requires completing a run for every character. Since you can play two characters at once, you only need to run through Arcade mode a total of 15 times. Feel free to play on Very Easy mode if you prefer, as there are no difficulty-specific trophies. You will also need to battle on all the different stages, in order to unlock the Passport To Beatdown Country trophy.

Finally, simply mop-up any outstanding offline trophies you still need. Be sure to check out the Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you’re missing and their requirements.

At any time, you can hop online and start working on those trophies, as well. Your ultimate goal is to play 100 online games for the Invincible trophy. Along the way however, you will need to get a 5-game win streak for the Indestructible trophy, win 30 battles for the King Of The Hill trophy, and reach 10th Rank for the Power Made Flesh trophy, which is arguable the most difficult trophy in the list as you will need to win far more battles than lose to increase your rank.

If you prefer to boost the online trophies, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Stories The Path of Destinies Trophy Guide

Stories The Path of Destinies Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  An action RPG where players make choices to uncover the many alternate endings. The Platinum is easy but requires a lot of grinding.

Game Name Difficulty Trophies Developer Country Bronze Silver Gold Online DLC
Stories: The Path of Destinies ** 38 Spearhead Games Canada 20 13 4 0 0

Stories: The Path of Destinies

Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action RPG with a top-down view, featuring anthropomorphic animals. Players defeat enemies through a combination of attack combos, and gain experience to unlock new skills. Players can also craft new weapons. The story includes multiple endings depends on the player’s choices.

On an island floating through the air, Reynardo is a fox and retired pirate. After his town is destroyed by the Empire’s minions, he joins a rebellion in an attempt to defeat the Emperor.

Stories: The Path of Destinies received mainly positive reviews with an average score of 74%, praised for its innovative concept of combining an action RPG with a Choose Your Own Adventure novel, and its fluid combat system, but criticized for its repetitiveness.

The game is not particularly difficult. The hardest part about unlocking the Platinum is the grind, as you will need to play through the game at least 25 times, in order to get all the different endings. Each playthrough is roughly 40 minutes. The main reason for the 2-star difficulty is for the time required.

Expect around 22-25 hours for the Platinum.

Start by simply playing through the game. Since you’ll be playing several times, there’s no need to go nuts and try to get as many trophies as you can on your first playthrough. Just enjoy the game, and make whatever choices you want.

The only trophy we recommend going after during your first playthrough is the Taking Care Of Yourself trophy, which involves not taking any damage during a level. This is because there are less enemies during the first playthrough. If you happen to die, return to the main menu and select to continue, which takes you back to the start of the last chapter, rather than a checkpoint.

Next, it’s time to replay the game many, many times. Your ultimate goal here, is to unlock the Bookworm trophy for uncovering all 25 story endings, and all the Truth’s. For more details on how to get these, check out the Truth’s and Story Endings guides under our Links tab.

During this step, you’ll also be grinding your way towards the Sword Fu Master trophy, which requires reaching level 46. Like most RPG games, the higher the level, the more experience is required. As a result, we recommend doing story numbers 8, 12, 13, 15, 22, and gaining all the Truth’s last, as completing these will grant you level bonuses that are more useful when you’re getting closer to reaching level 46.

And of course, there are a number of miscellaneous trophies to unlock as well, which you should also be going after during your playthroughs. Check out the Stories The Path of Destinies trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details on these.

Once you’ve uncovered all 25 story endings and unlocked the Bookworm trophy, it’s a matter of mopping up whatever you may still need at this point for the Platinum. Again, check out the Stories The Path of Destinies trophy guide links to see what trophies you’re missing and their requirements.

LEGO City Undercover Trophy Guide

LEGO City Undercover Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  An action-adventure based on the LEGO City brand. The Platinum is quite easy to acquire, though requires a fair amount of time to gather all the collectibles.

LEGO City Undercover ** 49 TT Fusion U.K. 38 8 2 0 0

LEGO City Undercover

LEGO City Undercover is an action-adventure with platforming elements, and based on the LEGO City brand. The game was first released on the Nintendo Wii U in 2013, before being remastered and ported onto the PS4 and Xbox One in 2017. Players control an undercover cop who is able to perform various moves, as well as apply disguises which grant extra abilities. Players can also unlock and use other characters during the course of the game.

Police officer Chase McCain returns to Lego City, to find it has sunk into a place heavy in crime due to the escape of notorious criminal Rex Fury. Chase must find this criminal and restore peace and justice to the city.

LEGO City Undercover received positive reviews with an average score of 79%, praised for its story, humor, and level design, though criticized by some for its lack in co-operative multiplayer, and long loading time.

The game, and all its trophies, are quite easy to complete. Also, like most titles in the LEGO series, there are no missable trophies, and no online trophies to worry about. The only reason for the 2-star difficulty rating is the time required, as there is plenty to do post-game, and lots of collectibles to find.

Expect around 45 hours or so for the Platinum trophy.

Start by playing through the main story, which consists of fifteen Chapters as well as several Special Assignments. There are no missable trophies to worry about, though to save time, be sure to activate any red bricks you collect. Also, look for the Rex Fury Token which can be found at the end of Special Assignment 15.

Once you’ve finished the story, it’s time to do everything else. Start by purchasing the Rex Fury character and assign him as the Robber. Then, to save time, acquire the Super Color Gun Red Brick, which can be found on the top of the toy store in Uptown. You will need the Green color for the gun to acquire it.

After that’s done, you can now head into Free Play and search for all the collectibles in the Special Assignments. This includes character and vehicle tokens, red bricks, and a few other miscellaneous items. Be sure to check out the collectibles guides under our Links tab for more details.

Next, it’s time to find all the collectibles in the open world, as well as complete all the challenges. There are a total of 405 gold bricks to find, which is why this step is the most time-consuming. Again, check out the collectibles guides under our Links tab to make the search easier.

Finally, simply mop-up any other trophies you may be missing at this point. Check out the LEGO City Undercover trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need and their requirements.
