Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2 is a third-person action shooter, and a sequel to the 2007 Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Players battle against creatures on an alien terrain, with the ability to pilot mechanized armor suits. The game includes both online co-op and versus modes.

Ten years following the events of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, the snow has melted on EDN III revealing deserts and jungles. The story shifts between a group of mercenaries, NEVEC's Black Ops, and Waysider snow pirates, who soon learn both the dangerous and ecological instability of EDN III.

Lost Planet 2 received mixed reviews, with an average score of 69%, praised for its multiplayer feature and graphics, but criticized for a number of design flaws.

Yes, a 5-star difficulty rating, as the platinum for this game is quite ridiculous. The one of the most challenging trophies will be the Good Job Soldier, and A Collector's Collector, which require completing a vast number of specific feats, one of which includes getting a #1 world record score from a list of training missions, which of course is getting more difficult over time as players continue to raise the bar.

On top of all this, there are 6 online trophies which require hours of grinding. Plus, you'll need 4 playthroughs of the campaign, each for the four difficulty modes.

Expect around 300 hours or more on this puppy.

We recommend starting with the campaign which will not only give you a feel for the game, but assist in building your list of weapons and abilities that will help you later online. If you're starting your campaign on either Easy or Normal, we recommend hosting a game with three private slots, other cannot join. This will earn you the Me Against The World trophy. For the harder difficulty modes, you'll want to reset your game to allow players to join you. Not only will this make the game easier, but will help work towards the Two Is Better Than One trophy.

You'll need to play the campaign at least four times, one for each of the four difficulty modes: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme. During your playthroughs, you'll want to keep an eye on the list of Good Job awards and what you need to unlock them. For a full list, check out our Links tab.

After you've completed your four campaigns, hop into multiplayer and start working on those online trophies. Playing team matches is an easier way to collect wins, of which you'll need 100 for the Centurion trophy. Again, like in your campaign, check out and work towards the requirements for the Noms de Guerre feats.

Finally, you'll embark on the most tiresome aspect of the game, which is grinding for the remaining Good Job and Noms de Guerre awards. Visit the guides and lists under our Links tab for further assistance.

Good luck. This is not an easy Platinum, but certainly one to be proud of.

Okami HD Trophy Guide

Okami HD Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  An action adventure, with platforming and puzzle-solving elements, set in ancient folklore Japan. The game is quite easy, as is obtaining the Platinum, but can be time-consuming.

Okami HD

Okami HD is an action adventure first released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, and revamped with trophy support for the PlayStation 3 in 2012, and again for eighth generation consoles in 2017. The graphics are presented using cel-shading to resemble a sumi-e, or a Japanese ink wash painting. Players control Amaterasu, a character in the form of a white wolf, who must perform platforming and puzzle-solving to advance through the story, as well as battle enemies using various weapons and fighting techniques. Players can also use the Celestial Brush, the ability to draw on the screen in order to solve puzzles or defeat enemies.

Set during ancient folklore Japan, the eight-headed demon Orochi has been freed and curses the land. The Okami Amaterasu, the sun goddess in the form of a white wolf, is summoned to defeat Orochi and restore the life of the land.

The original Okami on the PlayStation 2 received high praise with an average score of 93%, praised for its visual design, story, originality, and overall fun.

Okami HD is overall a fairly easy game and certainly platinumable for any average gamer. The only reason for the 2-star difficulty is the time required, as there's a lot to do in the game. This includes finding all the collectibles, fishing every type of fish, and defeat every enemy in the game at least once. All generally easy tasks, but a little time consuming.

Expect roughly 50-60 hours, depending on whether or not you take your time or rush through, and if you collected the four missable trophies on your first playthrough.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS3 share the same list with those on the PS4.

If your aim is to collect every trophy, including the Platinum, in one playthrough, then you'll need to do everything required up until the Ark of Yamato, which is the point of no return. You'll be given a warning at this point, so don't worry about progressing too far.

However, there are four missable trophies you should concern yourself with. The No Furball On The Menu trophy requires you to reach the shore without being swallowed by the Water Dragon at the end of the Sunken Ship. Be sure to save your game prior, in case you miss it.

The From Imps To Demons trophy requires you to complete your Bestiary by defeating every enemy in the game at least once. This one is missable because of two enemies: the Fire Doom Mirror only appears once during the Imperial Palace mission, and Clay Flyer which, if missed the first time, will only appear again after the point of no return.

Also, the Leave No Chest Unopened trophy requires collecting all the Stray Beads. There is one Stray Beat, the first in the game in the River of the Heavens, which is potentially missable.

Finally, the Barking Up The Cherry Tree requires earning a Cherry Tree rank which includes dying less than 5 times. This is actually not that difficult to do, but be sure to save often just in case, and reload if you died.

By the time you're ready to enter the Ark of Yamato, be sure to check you've completed everything necessary for the Platinum. Both the From Imps To Demons trophy, and Leave No Chest Unopened trophy, won't unlock until after defeating the final boss, so make sure you've fulfilled their requirements. This also goes for the Barking Up The Cherry Tree trophy. Aside from that, you should have all the other trophies unlocked, except for Sayonara for boarding the Ark of Yamato, and The Dark Lord for defeating the final boss.

Then, it's finally time to board the Ark, defeat the final boss, and earn that Platinum.

Minecraft Story Mode Trophy Guide

Minecraft Story Mode Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *  A point-and-click adventure set in the Minecraft world. Like many Telltale games, the Platinum is both easy and quick to obtain.

Minecraft: Story Mode

Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic point-and-click adventure similar to other titles developed by Telltale Games, with a story based on the Minecraft game by Mojang. The game is divided into five Episodes, with an additional three available as downloadable content. Throughout the game, players make choices which can influence the story and its ending.

Jesse is a new player to the world of Minecraft who embarks on a journey to search for The Order of the Stone - five legendary players who had previously saved the Minecraft world, which is now under the threat of an evil Wither.

Each episode of Minecraft: Story Mode received positive reviews with an overall average score of 71%, praised for its colorful characters, humor, and story, though criticized for bugs and technical issues.

Like most Telltale Games, the Platinum for Minecraft: Story Mode simply requires progressing through the story until the end. The vast majority of trophies are story related, with only a few exceptions. However, since there is a Chapter Select available, mopping-up any missed trophies is a quick and easy procedure.

Expect roughly 15 hours to get through all five Episodes of the main game.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

If you've played any other Telltale Games, then you'll know that simply playing and enjoying the game from start to finish is a decent way to start. Nearly all the trophies are story-related, with but a few exceptions. However, with the Chapter Select available, going back and mopping-up those few trophies makes for a quick procedure.

Once you've completed all 5 Episodes (or 8, if you're going for the DLC) then it's time to nab those few trophies that are still waiting for you.

This may include the Leveraging Resources trophy for crafting a lever during Episode 1, Chapter 2, the That's Some Pig trophy for exhausting all conversation options with Reuben at the end of Episode 3, Chapter 3, and either the Griefer Madness or Occam's Razor trophy, depending on which decision you made a the end of Chapter 6, Episode 1.

The game includes over 80 film scenes from popular movies ranging from classics like Casablanca to more current movies like Hangover. Players can also upload their scenes to the server, while view and rate other player's scenes. the online servers were closed in November 2012.

Yoostar 2: Movie Karaoke received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 58%, praised for its overall party-fun appeal, but criticized for its lack of gameplay and technical issues with tracking the player's movements.

Yoostar 2: Movie Karaoke was first released in March 2011, and included 10 online trophies. Less than two years later, the servers were closed in November 2012. As a result, those 10 online trophies can no longer be unlocked, marking the Platinum for this game Not Obtainable.

LEGO Rock Band Trophy Guide

LEGO Rock Band Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A music rhythm game and part of the Rock Band series, playing in a band of LEGO characters. While the majority of the trophies are quite easy, only a single trophy marks this Platinum challenging.

Game Name Difficulty Trophies Developer Country Bronze Silver Gold Online DLC
LEGO Rock Band *** 50 Harmonix U.S. 37 10 2 0 0

LEGO Rock Band

Similar to the other Rock Band games, you design your Lego character and band, and work your way along a career path towards becoming a Lego rock star. Along the way, you'll use your music powers to help people out, such as battling ghosts or tearing down a building.

This is the "cute" version of Rock Band (there's even a No-Fail mode for the kiddies). No Metellica or System of a Down here. Instead, you've got Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" and Ray Parker Jr's "Ghostbusters." In fact, some DLC songs, if not approved behind the scenes on the PSN, will not upload to your Lego Rock Band track list.

Collecting the majority of these trophies is much easier and far quicker than Rock Band 2. However, if you're in the habit of checkout out "Players Met" to see their trophies, and happen to find Lego Rock Band, you may notice that many, many people have 97%. Why? Why not the Platinum? Because one trophy - The Final Countdown - is incredibly difficult! You must score 100% on the solo notes to the song The Final Countdown on Expert. The song is fast, with a billion different notes coming at you.

Without this trophy, Lego Rock Band would have received a mere 2-star rating. But this one challenge brings our score up to 3.

Like the other music games, working your way towards the platinum requires skill at the instruments. While we have some tips and links for certain trophies, the majority of them will be earned just by getting "good" at the guitar and drums.

There are two trophies, however - All For One and Practice Makes Perfect - which will require the help of friends. Since there's no online in Lego Rock Band, these two trophies will need three individual human beings to enter your home and pick up the instruments. Both trophies can be acquired on Very Easy mode.

The endless setlist in this game is far easier than Rock Band 2, and only takes up about 2 hours of your time.

The 100% note trophies can be acquired on Very Easy. With the exception of The Final Countdown, which requires a 100% on Expert solo.
