Grand Theft Auto III

Grand Theft Auto III is a third-person action adventure, and the fifth title in the Grand Theft Auto series. It was first released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001, and ported onto the PlayStation 4 in HD with trophy support in 2015. The game is set in the open-world, fictional Liberty City which is based on New York. Players may roam freely either on foot or by vehicle, and use a variety of weapons to take down enemies.

Following a bank robbery, Claude is shot and left for the police by his accomplices. After escaping from his prison sentence, he finds himself involved with the mafia who are at war with a rival gang.

The original Grand Theft Auto III received critical acclaim with an average score of 97%, praised for its open-world design, gameplay, impressive graphics, detail, and overall fun experience.

While thereā€™s plenty to do in order to obtain the Platinum, the game is nowhere near as time consuming as the more recent GTA IV or GTA V. There are no online trophies to worry about, and enabling cheats allows for an even quicker, easier playthrough.

Expect around 25-30 hours for the Platinum if using cheats.

It should first be noted that the Is This All Youā€™ve Got? trophy is missable, as there are two sets of missions which can become unavailable if you progress too far with other character missions. In Portland, be sure to complete all of Joey and Luigiā€™s missions BEFORE completing Salvatoreā€™s missions. Also, on Staunton Island, be sure to finish all of Asuka and Kenjiā€™s missions BEFORE completing Donald Loveā€™s missions. Doing this will avoid locking you out of any missions, and therefore the Platinum.

It should also be noted that using the cheats will make your playthrough much quicker and easier, without disabling the trophies. However, be aware of the Money Cheat, as using it lowers your Criminal Rating. Doing this too often will lock you out of achieving a Criminal Rating score of 5,000, which is needed for the Like A Boss trophy. Since you will be making a ton of money during your playthrough anyway, we recommend using the Money Cheat altogether.

Finally, itā€™s a good idea to complete the Paramedic Side Missions in Portland first, before moving onto the story missions. This will make things easier, as you wonā€™t be attacked by rival gangs while trying to complete the Paramedic missions.

With all that in mind, and after completing the Paramedic Side Missions, go ahead and complete the story. Doing this will not only unlock a number of story-related trophies, but give access to all areas in the game. Most likely, you will also unlock a few other trophies naturally along the way, as well.

With that done, itā€™s time to get 100% completion to unlock the Is That All Youā€™ve Got? trophy. Aside from completing all 12 Paramedic and all 48 story missions, this will also involve completing all 16 Pay-Phone missions, all four off-road vehicle and all four remote control vehicle missions, extinguish 60 fires, kill 60 criminals, complete 100 taxi fares, 20 rampages, 20 unique jumps, 100 hidden packages, and each vehicle import/export list on each island. Needless to say, this is where the bulk of your time will be spent.

Once youā€™ve gotten 100 completion and unlocked the Is That All Youā€™ve Got? trophy, youā€™re nearly there. Lastly, mop-up any outstanding trophies you need for that Platinum. Be sure to check out the Grand Theft Auto III trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Good luck!

Grand Theft Auto V PS4

Grand Theft Auto V is a third-person, action game set in an open world, and a sequel to the successful Grand Theft Auto IV released in 2008. Players switch between three players as they explore the vast city of fictional San Andreas, based on Southern California. An online multiplayer mode includes up to 16 players for both co-operative and competitive gameplay.

Michael De Santa, also known as Michael Townley, is a retired criminal with a family, all of whom are placed in a witness protection agency. Returning to a life of crime, he meets Franklin Clinton, a member of the Chamberlain Gangster Families with high ambitions. While planning an illegal goods smuggling, Michael meets with Trevor Philips, a high-tempered criminal with a dark past. The three playable characters decide to work together in planning six large heists around the fictional city of Los Santos.

Grand Theft Auto V had been highly anticipated after the huge critical and commercial success of its prequel. GTA5 became one of the highest-selling titles across seventh-generation consoles, as well as winning numerous Video Game Awards, with an average score of 97% for its vast detailed world, exciting action and storyline, and overall fun.

If you've even attempted to Platinum Grand Theft Auto IV, then you'll have a good idea how much time will be involved in completing its sequel. Complete the story and gather the 6 missable trophies along the way, use the free roaming afterwards to finish all the side missions and mop-up everything you need for 100% completion, then head online and grab those multiplayer trophies for the Platinum.

Sound easy? Well, the trophies aren't particularly difficult for an average gamer. But the time required, and the effort you'll have to put into GTA5 is massive. The main story alone is extremely long, with 69 missions to perform. And that's the easy part.

Set all your other games aside, quit your day job, and put in - at bare minimum - 300 hours into this game if you hope for the Platinum.

NOTE: The Trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3. Also, the PS4 version includes an extra bronze trophy: A New Perspective, while the Multi-Disciplined trophy was changed from a silver to bronze on the PS4.

For the most part, you can start up the game and make your way through the 69 main story missions, until you've completed your playthrough. The side missions, which will need to be finished to get 100%, can be done in free-roam after finishing the story. However, there are 6 missable trophies which you'll need to collect during your playthrough, otherwise risk having to restart the game. Four of them - TP Industries Arms Race, Red Mist, Kifflom!, and Three Man Army, can easily become unmissable so long as you select "Option C" when given the choice. However, Altruist Acolyte and Wanted: Alive Or Alive require a bit more effort, as there are limited opportunities to claim these two trophies. Check out the Grand Theft Auto V trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details to these missable trophies, and make sure to get them out of the way during your playthrough. Otherwise, simply enjoy the storyline from beginning to end.

Once you've completed the main playthrough, now comes the fun part. Aside from mopping-up, you will need to get 100% completion, which includes participating various activities and challenges, winning medals, etc. To save yourself some trouble, click on the Rockstar Social Club in our Links page to connect your PSN ID, which will provide you with a checklist for all missions and activities you have and have not yet completed.

Once you've finally gathered all the offline trophies, pat yourself on the back for a job well done, then get online to collect the remaining 17 multiplayer trophies. Many of these are not too difficult, only time consuming, with some cutting your time through boosting.

If you've managed to do all that, then you've earned a well-deserved Platinum you can be proud of. Congratulations!

Grand Theft Auto IV Trophy Guide

Grand Theft Auto IV Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***** Ā A third-person action title taking place in the open-world of Liberty City. An incredibly time-consuming Platinum with plenty to do and challenges to accomplish, not to mention the online trophies.

Grand Theft Auto IV

A third-person open world, the game is set in the fictional Liberty City, based heavily on New York City. You play Niko Bellic, a veteran from Eastern Europe who escapes a dark past and decides to pursue the "American Dream" while staying with his cousin Roman who runs a taxi service. Niko soon finds himself involved in a number of adventures, such as assassinating mob bosses, working for a crooked cop, stealing cars, and shooting pigeons.

the game has received outstanding reviews by numerous gaming magazines, particularly for its incredible detail - such as the vast soundtrack playable on any radio, and TV programs with commercials to watch. GTA IV was also the subject of controversy - particularly in the United States - and only edited versions were available in Australia and New Zealand.

Definitely not a game for the kiddies.

The trophies in this game will take hours and hours of playing time. The single-player mode alone has challenges which are either extremely hard, or extremely time consuming. The game is long, the city is massive, and will require two playthroughs just to collect all the offline trophies.

Then there's the online, with enough challenges to keep you plenty busy. Still not satisfied? Well, don't worry. Because they've even released some DLC with more trophies to earn! Yay!

GTA IV is definitely one of the most difficult and time-consuming Platinums to acquire for any game on the PlayStation 3. But definitely a platinum to be proud of.

It's recommended that you perform every possible challenge on your first playthrough. That way, you can quickly breeze through the story on your second, in order to obtain Liberty City Minute, which requires the game to be completed in under 30 hours.

Also, on your first playthrough, make sure that besides having completed all the missions in the story, that you've also done the Assassination missions, Little Jacob's Jobs, Brucie's Exotic Export, Brucie's Street Races, Stevie's Text Message Cars, Most Wanted, Vigilante, unlocked all the friend's special abilities, taken all your friends to all available activities, met all 10 random pedestrians, won each activity's game at least once, killed all the pigeons, completed all the Stunt Jumps, and all your friends like you above 80%. Whew! This will grant you the Key To The City trophy.

Once that's all done, you can play the game through again, focusing just on the story. Finish it under 30 hours, and you've unlocked Liberty City Minute. Then you just have to worry about the online trophies.

Since the game's release in Spring of 2008, Rockstar has released several DLC, the latest being The Ballad of Gay Tony, released late October of 2009. DLC means people are still playing online, which means still a chance to obtain the trophies.

Added Note: For the Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie trophy, you don't need to kill a Rockstar developer online. Simply kill, or be killed, by anyone with this trophy. By now, this one's quite easy to come by.
